which lasted about 1,700 years.


Through the ancient, modern, and present times under the rule of the Emperor we are here in Japan.

In my opinion, the reign of the Emperor was consolidated through the introduction of Buddhism in 538, the construction of Horyuji Temple( 607, the world's oldest wooden building), and the compilation of the ​Kojiki​（712） and Nihon Shoki（720）.

There are many kamisamas in Japan. 

When I was a child, I heard that everyone becomes a god when they die.

In addition to being said to be a kamisama in the sense of animism, I believe that those who lost to the imperial family were also worshiped as       kamisamas.

The latter god is mainly enshrined in shrines. 

Incidentally, according to Takeshi Umehara, Prince Shotoku is enshrined in the five-story pagoda of Horyuji Temple（607）.

In the game of shogi, when enemy pieces are captured, they can become allies without being killed.

In a Western sense,

・The Japanese yen is one of the world's 3 major base currencies.


・It's said that the present  Japanese people are as quiet, polite, kind, reserved, cooperative, secretive   etc   as ​the people​   in hundred years  ago

this could have led to misunderstandings and indecision,


leading to attacks from neighboring countries except  Taiwan.

・The ​average lifespan of Japanese​ people is long, positions in the around the top of the world.

・We have  four clear seasons and know how to enjoy each of them, such as ​novels​ and ​Haiku​.

The Emperor also holds a haiku ceremony at the beginning of the new year.

・70% of the country is forest, and we believe that God resides in everything: fields, rivers, forests, the sea, and the sky.  In recent years, that belief has been eroded.

You can see shrines everywhere you walk.
We are always surrounded and protected by them.

That's why we can make  our kids​  walk alone to and from school.

There are about 160,000 ​shrines​ in Japan, mub more uncountable if include simple small ones.
